This high-end gaming mouse pad was designed in Denmark and combines all the innovations, which SteelSeries has come up so far. The DeX is the next evolution of mousepads which delivers unmatched accuracy for optical as well as for laser sensors. The top surface is optimized for speed and low friction so the payers get the maximum glide with dead-on accuracy. That being said it’s considered to be a hybrid gaming mousepad, because it gives you the speed of a hard surface with the feel of soft surface. Inside the box are only two things, the DEX itself and couple of stickers. SteelSeries has address pretty much everything ahead about cloth mouse pads, but the biggest selling point for me here was the base.

The DeX uses a heavy silicon peace and SteelSeries claims this thing hold your ground no matter how furious the action gets. The silicon is textured, giving a slippery but don’t get me wrong this mousepad does stays in place than any product I have ever used before. The first thing you will notice is a pattern, the steelseries claims this is to reduce friction between the pad and the mouse feet, making the mice movements feel effortless. True or not it’s much smoother and faster than any cloth pad. Now one of my favorite features is the heat-bonded edging which gives it an Edgeless look and feel. You can see the mouse surface is running over the top edges and silicon base comes up and over there perfectly sealing together. Another great feature about this product is that DEX is water resistant so you can wash away the sings of battle and dust. That being said DEX is personally my favorite mouse pad so far, because it gives you unmatched performance, it’s durable and most importantly it is designed by greatest eSports athletes.

This model was first released in August 2005 and since, then it’s number one seller in the category for best gaming mouse pad. The SteelSeries has always been innovative and with their extensive testing and customer feedback they created something pretty unique. Most important feature that I love about QCK Mini is that this is an ultimate cloth pad that every player desired. Personally I am suing this pad along with my Rival 700 and I had no issue so far, plus you get extra performance using the SteelSeries Engine 3 software configurator which enables you to calibrate the surface and choose your favored settings. The bottom part is also pretty unique, with non-slippery rubber base. Personally I have been using this mat on a glossy table and I had not problem keeping it in a one position no matter how fast I moving my mouse. The dimensions are very close to a standard size mouse mat, It is a great combination of price and the quality you get. To be more specific QCK Mini is 9.8 inches by 8.3 inches, pretty small to fit on your desk and also easy to transport. Beside the high quality materials it bears mentioning that mouse mat comes in a nice packaging, which rolls out flat straight out the box which is pretty surprising compared to some other brands that I have tested before. Moreover you get couple of stickers along with user manual all packed nicely inside the box. There is a SteelSeries logo on the bottom left corner which gives it an overall better look than a standard black finish. I would strongly recommend this product to everyone looking for high quality, compact which is great if you got a limited desk space. The QCK mouse mat comes in a very compact and thin style box with the mouse pad nicely rolled up inside. Opening it up you get a mouse mat itself and the SteelSeries stickers as usual. With the mouse mat being rolled in the box, when taking it out the surface is slightly raised in parts, but this raised areas do flatten out pretty easily over a short period of time giving you a nice smooth surface. Actually this is not a bad thing, just something to be aware of and it is due to the way it’s packed. The QCK mouse pad comes with a cloth surface which has quite a tight weave but it is very flexible and soft. On the left corner there is a SteelSeries logo, which looks good and contrasts with the black surface nicely.

The bottom surface has a textured rubber finish that prevents mat from slipping it all over your desk. This specific surface it two millimeters thick, but don’t forget that SteelSeries offers wide range of pads so there is something for everyone. In terms of performance, I used this surface for a period of a few days with Sensei Wireless Gaming Mouse, and I think that this product takes the gaming experience to another level. I found that tracking on a mouse to be great all-round when using a on both low and high sensitivity, plus it’s very comfortable and provides a nice glide. The mouse is silent when using on this surface, something which can’t be always said if you are using a hard surface. To conclude, I really like the QCK mousepad, it provides a nice platform for gaming and for everyday use. It is a good all-rounder for those who prefer high and low sensitivity on their mouse. It doesn’t move around on the desktop, performs well and is pretty affordable no matter which model you choose across the range. Plus you can also choose your favorite color depending on a value that best suits your needs. Currently QCK is available in two color options, including black and blue which is a limited edition for pro gamers.

The first thing that you are going to realize when you take the QCK+ mousepad out of the box is that it’s massive. Personally I have never owned such a huge mat and you are probably wondering why you are going to need such a big surface for gaming. The reason why I recommend this mouse pad is that I play on a really low sensitivity mode, especially for first person shooters. When I switch between different sensitivity levels, in order to make an accurate and precise shot mouse comes off from the mat and it’s quite annoying. That is where this QCK+ gaming mouse pad comes into play, it gives me peace of mind and reassurance that won’t run out of gaming surface.

Like I said before this mat is really big, to be more exact it is 17 inches by 15 inches, so you really want to make sure you have the space for this one on your desk. Also you have to prepared to compromise with some space if you pick this up, but to be honest I really think the benefits highly outlet losing a little space. This mouse mat is little thicker than standard mouse pad and what this does, it actually provides some consistency if you are playing on a uneven surface, it definitely helps out. As far as tracking goes, I have not had any problems it’s actually very nice and smooth. I have been using SteelSeries mouse pads for ever since I started PC gaming, so I really like the material and the nice textured surface. The all-around this is a great mousepad perfect for playing games on low sensitivity and also for graphic designers who work with 3D models. For high sensitivity I would not recommend this, but for low it the best choice that actual gives you a real estate of the mouse pad, which will actually benefit you greatly in situation. The QCK XXL is one of the largest mousepads you can buy on the market, this one is not just a big pad it’s also a really high-performance product. The SteelSeries team has designed a massive size mouse pad which is nearly a 3 feet in length. To be more specific the dimensions are 900 by 400 millimeters, which is enormous compared to other product in the category. It uses the same cloth material which is used on championship grade QCK pads, but this time it’s lot bigger. On the back side we got the rubber non-slip surface adorned with Steelseries logos which is a pretty good looking. The soft surface of the XXL is designed for precision, it has a nice texture and it should enable your mouse to behave in a very precise manner.

Being a cloth mousepad the QCK XXL is an absolute dust magnet, but the great thing is that now you can easily clean the surface with water. It tends to be the largest mousepad you can get, compared to Razer Goliathus extended, but personally my favorite is SteelSeries as I am using Rival 100 and this products work perfectly togather. The purpose of this mouse pad is not only to improve your gaming performance, it simply allows you to cover entire computing surface. Moreover if you are an ambidextrous or got people who use a mouse on more than one side you can accommodate that very easily.
